Killinchy Road Houses

The Concept

Our clients approached us to design two houses for an infill site along a protected route in Co. Down. The houses are accessed off an existing shared laneway, and are oriented to take maximum advantage of south light, applying Passivhaus principles. We came up with two distinct yet related adaptable designs for generously proportioned, 4 bedroom, detached family homes with a contemporary vernacular aesthetic and high quality materials. These proposals are currently under consideration by the local Planning office.
